TALIA | MULTI FAMILY
116-120 E. 21st Street, Tulsa, OK 74114 | VIEW MAP
This 16-unit, three-building property sits right along the Midland Valley Trail, which leads south to The Gathering Place and north to the SOBO district and toward downtown Tulsa.
The property’s two northern buildings were built in the 1930s and include eight, single-story one-bedroom/one-bath units. The building to the south was added to the site in the 1980s and includes eight, two-story one-bedroom/one-bath units.
Purchased in 2021, recent renovations modernized the property with bold, cutting-edge designs, including interior/exterior paint, new railings, updated flooring, painted cabinetry, new appliances, new hardware/fixtures throughout, and new landscaping and fencing. The property’s parking area was updated to tie into its neighboring property, Velencia – a 27-unit development also owned and renovated by Bolewood Capital.
With its street facing buildings donning existing terracotta roof shingles and a stucco exterior, Talia’s renovation and design was greatly inspired by Mediterranean style. With a neutral color foundation as the backdrop in the interior and exterior, accent colors – blues, greens and oranges – and two arched tile mosaics bring warmth and liveliness to a property already surrounded by the energy of the trail and midtown itself.
The name “Talia,” was inspired by the Greek name meaning “flourishing,” as well as the winged sandals worn by Hermes in Greek mythology, called Talaria, which allowed the god to “fly as swift as any bird.”
